I had a cold yesterday that took me down by the teeth. Brewed a stockpot of fresh ginger tea and drank it dry with raw honey and lemon. I live.
Buy a massive piece of fresh ginger. Scrub it clean under fresh running water. Cut it into chunks without peeling and cover it with 8 cups of water. Simmer for an hour and start to drink. Keep the tea on a simmer so that it continues to concentrate. The honey has got to be raw. I buy Really Raw from Maryland. It’s a fortune, but Tylenol costs more for fewer doses and has no taste or poetry.
Faye,
I am interested in buying Really Raw. There are several on the website. Which do you recommend for tea and for cooking?
Mille grazie.
